‘BLINKING INTO THE SUNLIGHT’

My breakthrough Melbourne solo show was in a condemned warehouse in Collingwood, Melbourne.

I always wanted to do a large-scale museum show. No museums got back to me, so we had to build one.

Visitors followed a route through various rooms and spaces with experiential installations and interactive elements, opening out to a large gallery space with paintings and paper works.

Despite the show being at a secret location, 1,300+ people attended over a weekend period, with some queuing for an hour on the opening night.
The show was a sold-out success and was featured in The Sydney Morning Herald, Broadsheet and The Urban List.
